The GBPSSI-AAN community is honoured to introduce Mr. Abhishek Tiwari (He/Him), a distinguished alumnus from the MBA-Rural Development Batch (2008-2010). Abhishek is a seasoned Development Practitioner and Fulbright Alumnus with 15 years of experience specializing in Community, Livelihoods, and Conservation, having held leadership roles at WWF India and PRADAN.

Abhishek's career showcases a strong dual focus on grassroots empowerment and strategic conservation leadership, driven by expertise in participatory methods and coalition building.

National Leadership (Livelihoods and Conservation): Served as National Lead - Livelihoods and Conservation at WWF-India, leading Community Engagement for Conservation across all landscapes in India. This role involves tackling complex issues like multidimensional poverty and biodiversity loss.

Grassroots Empowerment (PRADAN - 11+ years): Spent over a decade with PRADAN, a leading NGO. This included strengthening the livelihoods of twenty thousand tribal women in Madhya Pradesh and serving as Consultant Partnership and Network, coordinating a network of 25 Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in the state.

Strategic Partnership & Proposal Writing: Excels in writing winning proposals and building high-impact partnerships and multiple coalitions for collaborative action across CSR, academia, Government departments, NGOs, and CBOs.

Advanced Training & Policy: Currently selected as an MPA candidate at LKYSPP, National University of Singapore (NUS), supported by the prestigious Li Ka Shing Endowment Scholar title. This pursuit underscores his dedication to influencing policy and leadership for inclusive approaches.

Consultancy & Community Planning: Provided consultancy services, including intervention design, project proposal development (Shamayita Math), training government agencies (SeSTA), and Village Development Planning (KABIL).

Master of Public Administration (MPA) from National University of Singapore (NUS) (Upcoming, as Li Ka Shing Endowment Scholar).

Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Rural Development from Govind Ballabh Pant Social Science Institute (2008-2010 Batch).
