Dr. Hemant Kumar is a distinguished academic and researcher in Science, Technology and Innovation Policy, currently serving as an Associate Professor at the Central University of Gujarat.

His research examines grassroots and frugal innovation, innovation systems in the Global South, gender and STEM, and the socio-economic pathways through which informal-sector innovations can scale.
