Lalit Singh Kharayat, a distinguished alumnus from the MBA(RD) First Batch (2001-03), with extensive experience and deep expertise in development work, particularly in Public Health, Data Management, and Livelihood Programmes.

The GBPSSI-AAN community is honoured to feature Mr. Lalit Singh Kharayat, a distinguished alumnus from the MBA(RD) First Batch (2001-03), with extensive experience and deep expertise in development work, particularly in Public Health, Data Management, and Livelihood Programmes.

Lalit is a highly competent professional with nearly 15 years of experience in Programme Management, Training, and Support across vital sectors like Health, Livelihood, and Agriculture Entrepreneurship. His functional skills are deeply rooted in Strategic Planning, Training and Capacity Building, and Community Mobilisation.

His career demonstrates a powerful ability to work at the critical intersection of government and non-government agencies, allowing him to quickly analyze key developmental issues and develop strategies to overcome them.

Public Health Programme Management: Over 5.5 years dedicated to Targeted Intervention (TI) programmes with TSU-UPSACS (under Futures Group and FHI360), playing crucial roles such as Team Leader-TI and Program Officer. He was instrumental in strengthening MIS, training plans, and providing technical support for STI/RTI and ICTC centers under NACO.

Data and Monitoring Expertise: Currently serving as a Data Mining Consultant for UNAIDS and previously as an M&E Expert for the State Technical Support Unit for the National Tuberculosis Elimination Program (NTEP).

Social Mobilisation: Extensive experience with UNICEF's Polio Eradication Programme and Routine Immunization as a District Mobilization Coordinator with IPE Global, where he facilitated block-level planning, sensitised government functionaries (CMO, DM), and developed Behavior Change Communication (BCC) strategies in high-risk areas.

Agriculture and Livelihood: Early in his career, he focused on Agriculture Marketing and entrepreneurship as a Sr. Project Manager for the Centre for Agriculture and Rural Development (CARD), managing agriculture events, setting up Agri-Business Centres (ABC's), and developing new project proposals.
