The GBPSSI-AAN community is pleased to introduce Mr. Nishant Pandey (He/Him), a focused and incisive alumnus from the Sixth Batch (2006-08). Nishant is a highly specialized finance professional with over 18 years of experience in the Banking, Finance, and Microfinance sectors, currently serving as a Regional Relationship Manager at ICICI Bank.

Nishant Pandey's career demonstrates a significant evolution from microfinance expansion and risk management to specializing in legal collection and debt recovery, a critical area in retail banking.

Legal Collection & NPA Management (ICICI Bank - 6+ years): In his current role as Regional Relationship Manager, Nishant is a key figure in debt recovery. He expertly uses legal tools (including RDB Act, SARFAESI, Arbitration, NI Act, etc.) to manage and recover funds from NPA (Non-Performing Asset) cases across a wide range of retail products (Housing Loan, Auto Loan, Business Loan, Credit Card, etc.).

Rural & Inclusive Banking Sales Leadership (ICICI Bank): Previously served as Regional Head Sales, focusing on promoting SHG (Self-Help Group) and JLG (Joint Liability Group) loan products in South Gujarat. He was also instrumental in identifying and empanelling MFIs/NGOs/SHPIs as business partners for both direct retail and wholesale lending, showcasing his commitment to financial inclusion.

Credit, Risk, and Product Management: Held leadership roles such as Product Head - Rural Finance at Arman Financial Services and Cluster Risk Manager at Fullerton India Credit Company Ltd. (FICCL).

At FICCL, he managed a portfolio of over ₹65 crore, focusing on credit underwriting for various loan products (Vehicle, Secured, Unsecured), ensuring high collection efficiency (99.7% on-time collection), and mitigating business and operational risks.

Microfinance Operations & Expansion: Gained foundational experience as a Divisional Manager at Grama Vidiyal Microfinance Ltd., where he was responsible for the overall business development and growth of the division, successfully establishing 15 branches in MP within a year and managing a portfolio of over ₹26 crore without any due.

Nishant holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the G.B. Pant Social Science Institute, Allahabad (Sixth Batch, 2006-2008).

Nishant Pandey is an exemplary GBPSSI alumnus who has combined his grassroots microfinance knowledge with sharp analytical and legal skills to become a strategic asset in the banking and financial services industry.
