Paras K Jha, a dynamic alumnus from the Third Batch (2003-05). Paras is an entrepreneur and skilled project manager with a unique career blend spanning financial services, skill development, and now, Agri-Tech.

THE JOURNEY

The GBPSSI-AAN community is excited to introduce Mr. Paras K Jha, a dynamic alumnus from the Third Batch (2003-05). Paras is an entrepreneur and skilled project manager with a unique career blend spanning financial services, skill development, and now, Agri-Tech.

Paras Jha's career is marked by his ability to pivot between grassroots management, financial services, and entrepreneurial ventures in the development space.

Entrepreneurial Venture (RESOLAB): Since April 2020, Paras has been the Founder & Managing Director of RESOLAB (www.resolabindia.com). RESOLAB is a specialized talent marketplace for the Microfinance sector, focusing on linking active talent with opportunities in various states. This initiative directly supports the HR and growth needs of the financial inclusion industry.

Skill Development Leadership: He has extensive experience in managing large-scale skill development and livelihood projects, often under Public-Private Partnership (PPP) models:

Served as State Head at NIIT YUVA JYOTI LIMITED, managing the crucial DDU-GKY skill development project for 3,000 BPL youth in six LWE districts of Bihar.

Held roles as Project Head for Spark -All Security and Centum WorkSkills India Limited, managing security and skill development projects.

Served as Program Director at PRAGATI, focusing on livelihood and skill development management.

Financial Services Foundation: Gained foundational experience in financial product distribution as a Sales Manager and Financial Services Consultant with Bharti AXA Life Insurance and ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Limited.

Grassroots Distribution: Began his journey as a Management Trainee at Sewa Gram Mahila Haat, where he was responsible for managing the distribution network for small women producers, connecting him directly to the rural economy.

Paras has consistently applied his MBA in Rural Development by focusing on solutions that scale livelihood and employment opportunities: from managing women's producer networks and selling insurance to BPL segments, to running large government skill schemes, and finally, founding a specialized talent platform for the microfinance sector.
