Vinay is a dedicated development professional specializing in project management, institutional development, and financial inclusion, currently serving as Project Manager at M-CRIL inclusive microeconomics.
Vinay’s career reflects a strong focus on strengthening grassroots institutions, linking them with financial resources, and ensuring accountability in large government programs.
Project Management & Institutional Strengthening (M-CRIL - Current Role): Currently a Project Manager at M-CRIL (Micro-Credit Ratings International Limited), indicating expertise in the economics, monitoring, and evaluation of financial inclusion and micro-level development initiatives.
Rural Institutional Development (EDA Rural Systems - 12+ years): Spent over a decade as a Management Executive at EDA Rural Systems, focusing heavily on making poor institutions self-sustainable.
Financial Linkage: Responsible for linking farmers/association members with banks (as JLG) or MFIs for financial support.
Market Linkage: Involved in developing producer firms for farmers and linking them to the market for sales.
Capacity Building: Prepared action plans and developed training kits for SHG members, field officers, and Community Resource Persons (CRPs).
Government Program Implementation (Uttarakhand Government - 3 years): Served as a Deputy Program Officer overseeing the NREGA (National Rural Employment Guarantee Act) program at the district level.
This high-accountability role involved monitoring/leading the Village Development Officer (VDO) team, financial responsibility, maintaining the MIS system for NREGA, designing labor budgets, and conducting social audits and verification of physical works.
Vinay holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Rural Development from the University of Allahabad (2006–2008).
